Who We Serve

Breland Booth

Founder and President

Breland founded Booth Financial with the simple goal of helping people. He began his work in the financial services industry in 2002. Over the next several years, Breland was involved with a variety of financial advisors and institutions, as either an employee or a client. The bulk of his time was spent in the small business sector, where he successfully owned, operated, and sold several businesses.

During those years (on both sides of the profession), Breland saw clearly what made an exemplary advisor. In 2015, Breland founded Booth Financial with a desire to help his clients clients reduce taxes, invest smarter, and retire on their terms. He loves helping people get a handle on complex and complicated issues without burdening and confusing them more than they already are.

Breland has earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Southeastern Louisiana University. Along with Breland's education and experience, this provides him the privilege of sitting for the Certified Financial Planner designation.

Breland lives in Birmingham, AL with his wife, Beth, and their three children. Breland is always looking for the next adventure—whether that is exploring an offbeat trail on a dirt bike, cooking new foods, or RVing across the country with his family.

Brandon Jones

Tax Advisor

Brandon has been in the tax and accounting industry for more than 20 years, and he has owned his own firm since 2013. His years of experience and on-going tax education enable him to see taxes clearly. He has prepared countless returns and enjoys helping clients, particularly those at or near retirement. Brandon uses his expertise to assist Booth Financial with tax analysis and tax planning, ensuring our clients have a clear plan to maximize gains and minimize taxes.

Brandon, a Birmingham native, graduated from the University of Montevallo. He and his wife Brenda have three children. Brandon loves getting to know people and volunteering around the Birmingham community. He is an active member of his church. He also loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, motorbike riding, hunting, and fishing.

Brenda Jones

Office Manager

Brenda Jones, the youngest of five, was born and raised in Alabaster, Alabama. For many years, she worked in the orthodontic field in management, assisting, and in marketing. She now uses her skills and experience to manage the office and administrative needs at Valley Tax Partners and Booth Financial.

Brenda resides in the Oak Mountain area with her husband Brandon. They are a blended family with three children between the two of them (Lynleigh, Malachi and Andon). Brenda is an active member at A2 Church. She loves spending time with her family, going to the beach, and dabbling in photography.
